Luz Dary Garcia is originally from Colombia and has been living in New Zealand for 10 years. Her mother tongue is Spanish, and before studying at DynaSpeak, she had studied General English in Australia. Luz Dary chose to study at DynaSpeak because she wanted to improve her English. For Luz Dary, the experience at DynaSpeak has been similar to her previous studies, but one thing she particularly likes is the teachers. Through her studies, she has met great people and discovered more places in New Zealand. These experiences have helped make her learning journey about more than just improving her English. Looking ahead, Luz Dary hopes to find a job. One of her ideas for learning is to have a long book of stories that classmates could also access and read. It is a lovely reminder that learning can be even more enjoyable when people have the opportunity to share stories and learn together.
