Our Story

The Journey of Digital Transformation

As part of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, DynaSpeak has embarked on a transformative journey to create cutting-edge online learning content that serves our migrant tauira across Aotearoa New Zealand. What began as “DynaSpeak Online” has evolved into DynaSpeak Tuihono — a name that reflects our deep commitment to our Māori identity and organisational values.

This digital platform represents months of careful curriculum design, cultural consultation, and pedagogical innovation — all aimed at creating learning experiences that help our tauira not only master New Zealand English but also develop the cultural understanding necessary to thrive in their adopted country.

Pedagogical Framework

Aligned to National & International Standards

DynaSpeak Tuihono has been meticulously designed to align with three critical frameworks, ensuring every lesson meets the highest standards for migrant tauira who live, study, and work in New Zealand.

  • NZCEL Guiding Document

Ensuring all content meets national qualification standards

  • DynaSpeak's NZCEL Delivery Timetable

Providing structured, timely progression through learning objectives

  • CEFR — Common European Framework

Maintaining international standards for language proficiency measurement

Programme Structure — The Staircase Approach

Each NZCEL programme consists of 18 weeks of comprehensive Reading, Listening, and Writing lessons. Our curriculum employs a staircase approach — ensuring logical progression from Foundation (Beginner) through to Level 5 Academic.
