Sayed's study experience
When Bayani arrived in New Zealand from Afghanistan 18 months ago, he knew that improving his English would be an important step towards building his future. Having already studied some English at school and through English courses in Afghanistan, Bayani wanted to continue learning in an environment where he could grow in both language and confidence. After hearing positive recommendations from family and friends, he chose to study NZCEL Level 3 Applied General at DynaSpeak. "I have learned a lot about New Zealand culture and made some new friends." For Bayani, studying at DynaSpeak has been about much more than learning English. He has gained a deeper understanding of New Zealand culture, built friendships, and experienced a welcoming learning environment. He says one of the biggest differences at DynaSpeak is the way the courses are taught. "The system and method of teaching is better at DynaSpeak." Looking ahead, Bayani has clear goals. He hopes to continue his education by studying at university and completing a degree. He is also considering entering the workforce after finishing his English studies, knowing that stronger English skills will open more opportunities. When asked about his favourite memory, Bayani doesn't choose a single day. "Every day of the past semester was good to me. I have seen very kind behaviour from my teachers and all DynaSpeak staff members." Bayani's journey shows how learning English can be the first step towards new opportunities, meaningful friendships, and a brighter future in New Zealand.
