Originally from India, Janvi Chaudhari has been living in New Zealand for the past two years. She speaks Gujarati as her first language and is also fluent in Hindi and English. Before joining DynaSpeak, Janvi studied in English for four years while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Wanting to improve her communication skills for everyday life and her future career, Janvi enrolled in NZCEL Level 2 General at DynaSpeak after hearing about the supportive learning environment. "The teaching style here is very interactive and focused on real-world communication, which has helped me gain more confidence in using English every day." Since starting at DynaSpeak, Janvi has become more confident communicating in English, particularly in real-life situations. She says the practical lessons and encouragement from her kaiako have made learning both enjoyable and meaningful. Janvi has a clear goal for the future. She hopes to work as a registered nurse in an English-speaking country and plans to sit the Occupational English Test (OET) after completing her studies. She knows that strong English skills will play an important role in achieving her dream. One of her favourite memories at DynaSpeak was giving a group presentation. "I was nervous at first, but the support from my classmates and teacher gave me the confidence to speak in front of everyone." Janvi's journey shows how the right support and a welcoming learning environment can help students build confidence, improve their English, and take the next step towards achieving their career goals.
