My name is Reema. I have been working at DynaSpeak as a kaiako (teacher) since 2015. One of the things I appreciate most about teaching at DynaSpeak is the regular and updated professional development sessions that the organization provides. Through these sessions, I have gained valuable insights into pedagogy and various teaching methods. However, the most challenging learning curve for me was teaching the hybrid version, which was completely new for everyone. Initially, I found it stressful, but now I realize how useful it is to learn how to maximize the use of technology in class. Another aspect of teaching at DynaSpeak that I particularly enjoy is witnessing the measurable progress of my students. From week one to week 10 or 11, I see a marked improvement in their essay writing and reading skills. It is a great feeling to see the positive impact that I am making as a teacher.
